NoteSmith
Technical Support
NoteSmith technical support
is available to all current year users from one of the
following methods. Since others have likely had the questions you now
have, we make common responses available to you which hopefully give you
an immediate answer. We recommend you work through these items in
order to get a correct answer to your issue in the shortest amount of
elapsed time.
- Current issues
are items we have seen recently for the first time or frequently
during the last few days or weeks.
- Frequently Asked
Questions (FAQs) are items that many users may encounter
at some point, but may be too isolated or hardware specific to
address in the printed manual. The FAQ page also allows you to freshen
your program files.
- Email or fax your
question for a personalized response.
- Voice support is not
offered or available.
The quickest way we can help you is to provide an answer before you
ask your question. This is the idea behind the Current Issues and FAQ
pages. If your issue is not addressed there, our goal is to respond to
your personal emailed or faxed support request by the end of each
business day. Attempting to schedule telephone support yields the
longest elapsed time between question and answer.
Activate
Your NoteSmith Installation
To protect your investment in NoteSmith, and so you can be sure
that since you paid for the use of your program, that others are not
using it for free, go to the Activation
page to enable your NoteSmith installation. Have your CD registration
number handy along with the activation number from the Help, Technical
Support, Activation page of your NoteSmith program.
By activating your program, you once again acknowledge
your acceptance of the NoteSmith End User License Agreement
(NEULA.pdf) which you earlier accepted
twice during program installation. The NEULA
also can be found in your NoteSmith
manual and at the NoteSmith help menu.
Download
a NoteSmith Installation CD
If your CD or your CD drive is damaged and NoteSmith cannot be installed, go to
the CD Download page
which will allow you to copy a CD image to your hard disk. You must
already have a CD key either in the back of your printed manual or
from the Technical Support staff,
otherwise you cannot install the downloaded file.
